Loves Volvo B59 Domino Hedges 245FCA
This Cairns bus is a Domino-Hedges bodied Volvo B59, originally 810 (397NCO) in 1978, later given rego 955AVP. Withdrawn in 1994 the bus passed to Cairnstrans passing to Stagecoach in Cairns when the international operator attempted to enter the Australian market. When Stagecoach retreated the Volvo passed to Love's Bus Service as 245FCA in Cairns, where photographed in July 1999, Love's also have a similar sized operation in Albany, WA. The bus ended its days as a motorhome in Queensland with rego 467LKM.
 
Pleasure Tours Leyland Panther Denning MO336
Formr Brisbane 657 (PLC408) was one of a trio of Leyland Panthers that operated for Pleasure Tours of Lidcombe in the Sydney area. Whilst 657 was Denning bodied the other two, 431 (PKV795) and 525 (PJY824) were bodied by Athol-Hedges. The bus is believed to be at Bondi in January 2003 with rego MO336 having been MO7963 originally in NSW. The Pleasure Tours business ceased in July 2005, its bus routes passing to Punchbowl and its charter work - with no vehicles - to the Hawkesford Group, the diivision using the trading name Hawkesford's Pleasure.
