 Also in Parramatta that day was 2835 (2835ST), one of 23 new Custom CB80 bodied Volvo B7RLE buses following on from the 174 Bustech bodied Scanias and Volvos delivered previously. Probably a bit of a relief for the troubled Custom Coaches who has seen its products recently sidelined by Sydney, Canberra and Tasmania in favour of Bustech designs. A new CB80 bodied Scania K310UB 2886 (2886ST) entered service in October 2017, with a CB80 bodied Volvo B8RLE (2913) due to follow. Hopefully more CB80 bodied upgraded Euro6 machines follow. The latest deliveries can be spotted afar with their bright white destos, no longer the preserve of the Bustechs.
