 Visiting the La Roche restaurant at the 96 Acland Street terminus alongside the junction with Barkly Street one could see the 96 trams coming and going throughout your meal, like 6010 in this February 2015 view. With the new pedestrianised precinct, this is no longer an option.

 Across the other side of the city in November 2014 6011 is seen in Nicholson Street in Fitroy North, not far from the East Brunswick terminus.

 At the same location three years on, 6026 is heading towards the city and on to St Kilda, whilst 6011 disappears north towards the East Brunswick terminus.

 Here is the new Acland Street terminus in January 2017 with its two elevated platforms so that 6016 and 6012 can park side by side. Before passengers alighted in the middle of Acland Street and whilst cars are supposed to wait while passengers disembark and the doors are open, car drivers turning in from Barkly Street were not always fully alert, despite the new E Class trams displaying red LED messages to warn of the potential danger.
