Born from Manchester Corporation Tramways, Manchester Corporation Transport served a huge
area with a mixed fleet of Leyland, Daimler and Crossley vehicles, many with features designed
by Manchester themselves. A change in local policy led to new liveries as seen on later
models with their distinctive orange and white colours.
