MIDLAND GENERAL |
The Midland General Omnibus Co. was established in 1920 as a subsidiary of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Tramway Co. Operating services actually started in 1922 and the company grew to establish itself as a clean, reliable and well respected fleet and this was reflected in the fact that Midland General was one of the few fleets allowed to remain blue under N.B.C. control, as shown on our Leyland National. In 1972 Midland General along with Notts & Derby came under the control of Trent Motor Traction Co. |
