EFE Provincial Routemasters

I am often asked questions about the Routemaster that we have produced in liveries other than London Transport. This model focus identifies each of the provincial Routemasters that we have produced and gives the date that the model was released. Please note that some of these models were also released at a later date as a De-Luxe or special version not listed on this focus dated August 1999.

In this distinctive livery, Routemaster RM2059 registered ALM59B, is on route 102 to Deeping St. James and celebrates the 110th anniversary of The Delaine.

Beautifully illustrating a further type of bus operated by Ensignbus, is this Routemaster which brings our Ensignbus fleet up to 5 models. This model features RM1549, registered 549 LT on route 248 to Cranham via Upminster and carries a route number on the offside stair panel.

The Southampton Routemasters retained much of their original London identity which was customised to advertise the new Citybus service. Fleet number 402 registered 793 DYE is on route 17A to Weston and still carries its RM 1793 identity.

Stagecoach were one of the firt operators outside of London to take Routemasters and route 20 became a 100% Routemaster operated, due to the Police not allowing larger vehicles to run the chosen route through the Castlemilk estate. Registration number 607 DYE, fleet number RM 1607.
