 Taking pride of place at the 2004 Stuttgart Retro Classics display in the Auwaerter Hall was this 1954 Bussing 4000T with coachwork by Ernst Auwaerter. With the Neoplan Auwaerter company sold to MAN, it was left to the Ernst Auwaerter company to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the founding of the Auwaerter engineering company. The firm's foundation was in agricultural equipment. |

This beautiful specimen is a 1938 Opel Blitz 3.6-47-NR with an Otto 6 cylinder diesel engine. |

 This restoration project is sponsored by Konrad Auwaerter. It made an interesting display in the Auwaerter Hall. Photographs of the various stages of the task were displayed on the orange cantrail. The professional restoration was being undertaken by a young lady engineer. |
