
This Mercedes O3500 with Steib coachwork dates from 1953. It is seen on display in the
centre of Sinsheim. The town's main street was closed to allow the vehicles to
be displayed and this was accompanied by a civic reception from the town's
mayor. A shuttle service operated between the town centre and the Sinsheim
Technik Museum where the remainder of the buses were on show under the shadow
of the Museum's twin supersonice airliners: a Russian Tupolev TU144 and an
Air France Concorde.

This 1950 Swiss Post Bus FBW 50 ON has bodywork by Ramseier & Jenzer, lately a Volvo
subsidiary and known in the UK for bodying the C10M. The bus is on
display in Sinsheim. It is owned by Rollin AG.

Rollin AG also owns this FBW, the oldest vehicle at the event a 1925 with
charabanc bodywork by Seitz. It attracted a lot of attention in Sinsheim.

The only modern bus to be seen was this Mercees Citaro of local operator SWEG.
The company took the opportunity to promote their servcies to the crowds
in Sinsheim.
