Several Volvos emerge from Brisbane's central underground Bus Station with its labyrinth of tunnels. Leading the pack in July 2004 was 421 (421FAY) a 1988 B10M with Comeng bodywork. The "T" prefix to the fleet number indicates it is allocated to Toowong depot. |
QBB bodied B10M 199 (199GCU) is seen when brand new in 1989 alongside older Volvo B59, 800. |
There are only six Volvo B10Ls with Volgren bodies in the Brisbane fleet, 597-602. The buses date from 2000 and sport the CR222L style body. A601 (601FKG) wears a special livery for the Spring Hill Loop. However it is seen on August 8th 2009 outside the Brisbane Exhibition grounds on the occasion of the annual Royal Queensland Show, the "Ekka". The bus is operating the shuttle from the Exhibition grounds to Adelaide Street in the city centre.
