At the end of 1990 five Mercedes O405 PMC 160 49 seat coaches were delivered for the Sydney Explorer service and adorned in this distinctive red livery. They replaced standard bus bodied Mercedes. 3394 is seen loading in Circular Quay.

3394 seen about ten years earlier than the above picture.

Forward to 2004 and 3398 (mo3398) is seen leaving The Rocks. It has acquired a partial yellow air conditioning pod - perhaps from one of the retired Airport Express coaches.

Another Sydney Explorer is seen been overtaken by a ubiquitous white coach, in this case a MAN, whilst loading at Circular Quay.

3397 is seen working on the city tour in late 2008.
