418FAJ This Mercedes in the Whitsunday Transit fleet is in standard bus livery! The photo effect vinyls provide the dramatic effect of a real seascape. 418FAJ is an ex-State Transit NSW Mercedes O305/PMC Mk II with a modified front done by Bus Stop (dealer). Seen at Shute Harbour it is about to depart for Cannonvale, the other side of Airlie Beach, and close to the depot and local zoo. There is another depot, believed to be in the Proserpine area.

Bustech at Shute Also seen at Shute Harbour in the same colours, but looking even more striking is one of several low floor Mercedes O405NH with Australian built Bustech coachwork. Bustech is partly owned by the management of Surfside Bus Lines of Gold Coast.

Bustech at Airlie This view is seen as the vehicle sweeps through the Airlie Beach resort area.

Whitsunday Transit MAN coach Loading at the same venue for Proserpine Airport is one of a number of Coach Design bodied MAN coaches, but this one differs from the others in deploying a bus version of the 'waves' livery.
