Postbuses have become a
widely known, if not widely experienced phenomenon of recent years - serving sparce
rural communities with combined mail and passenger services. The LDV Sherpa/Convoy
is a familiar work horse - as is this typical 200 model seen at Showbus 97.

The dual role of this 200
- also seen at Showbus 97 - is a little more explicit, with its enhanced luggage compartment.

Seen leaving the 2004 EFE SHOWBUS International is probably the smallest capacity bus ever seen at the event, a Royal Mail Land Rover Postbus, 2770015. As can be seen from the destination "blind", the Land Rover Defender worked in Northern Scotland.
