Seen outside Slough Bus Station on the Wellington Street stands in June 2014 was Alexander Dennis Enviro200 44568 (YX63LLJ) about to head for Heathrow Terminal 5 on route 60, a modern day version of London Transport Country Area route 460 which terminated at Staines rather than the new T5.

In 2014 First Berkshire started a second X service to High Wycombe, the X9 from Maidenhead alongside the X74 from Slough. The new Enviro200s were regular performers like 44564 (YY63LLD) seen here climbing Marlow Hill out of Wycombe one June morning. As Arriva's 37 linking the towns takes an hour to amble through the villages, the X9 halved the journey, diving down the Marlow bypass. Little effort was made to market the service and despite suitable timings no effort was made to harness the school traffic between Maidenhead and Marlow which could have bolstered the services finances so it was soon withdrawn.
