 This SHOWBUS 2011 rear view of Bedford MJB481 shows the J W Lodge & Sons script fleetname on the boot. |
 Feature of Lodge's 2011 display was the appearance of a second Bedford OB. As can be seen the new addition to the fleet is minus most of its size. New to Western National as 1413 (LTA752) the coach passed to Lincolnshire Road Car where it became open sided for use on Skegness seafront as their 2094. It spents some years preserved in Lincolnshire colours until acquired by Lodge's. |
 The latest doubledecker for school work in 2011 was former East Yorkshire 593 (N593LRH), a lowheight Alexander Royale bodied Volvo Olympian. |
 Though our photographer failed to photograph MJB481 it did appear at SHOWBUS 2013 at Stratford-upon-Avon, calling by on its return from Manchester where it had been filming for Foxy Bingo. It also appeared at the final Duxford SHOWBUS, where it is seen arriving in 2014.

 Making its debut at SHOWBUS 2014 was this Chevrolet X, ES8640, which had served as a Scottish hotel's courtesy bus for some years. Lodge's acquired it as it was similar to the first vehicle ever operated by the family concern.
