Former South Midland Leyland Tiger PS1/1 38 (LWL995) was rebodied with an ECW Queen Mary style of body and transferred to the Newbury & District fleet as 169 in 1950 shortly after both fleets had passed to Thames Valley's control. The Tiger chassis ws lengthened in the rebodying process and the vehicle sat 37, though this was later reduced to 34. The origin of the photo is unknown, but is believed to be an official company shot. |
