Vehicles delivered to former LT companies post privatisation
DML Purporting to be DML18, this Centrewest Dart is clearly suffering an identity crisis. It appears to have lost isignia as well as the last digit of its fleet number. One thing is clear, it is on route from Uxbridge Bus Station to Ruislip.
R204TLM DML204 of First Centrewest is a dual door Dart entering Oxford Street, bound for Russell Square on the 7 from Acton.
T reg SLF Dart on 28 Shorter than the DML SLF Darts are the DM class - not to be confused with a certain London doubledecker! - these T registered low floor buses are ousting the Wright Handybus Darts from the 28, 31 and 328, which in their turn had ousted the MA class Alexander bodied Mercedes minibuses which inaugrated the high frequency service when they displaced Routemasters.
R672MCE Newly delivered, complete with Cambridge registration R672MCE (where Marshall build) is this Dart SLF ordered by MTL London North. It is operating the C11, the route for which it was intended. Not intended at the time of ordering, was the takeover by Metroline. The Dart thus has an identity crisis. It has been given the blue Metroline skirt, but at the time of delivery no decisions had been made about fleetname styles.

An earlier delivery for the 139 carries full MTL London insignia, and was amongst the last vehicles delivered new for MTL London operations.
