In 2010 Metroline succumbed to the "all red" livery police and the last distinctive London livery was no more. This Volvo B9TL/Wright, seen in Hounslow on the 237 - a new contract for Metroline - introduced a new type to the fleet, perhaps reflecting a simultaneous choice by Singapore Bus Services, Metroline's parent company. The fleetnumber prefix might suggest that VW1054 (LK10BXZ) is of German manufacture. The bus was seen on June 5th 2010 from the crowded top deck of Transdev Scania Omnicity SP180 (YT10CXD).
