Westlink was set up by London Regional Transport in 1986 as a subsidiary to operate services in South West London, mainly centred on Kingston and Hounslow. On privatisation it was sold to its management in 1994 but was quickly sold to West Midlands Travel, who were shortly after acquired by National Express who equally quickly sold it on to London United who absorbed the identity.
Westlink Dennis Dart Wright Handybus JDZ2412
With typical Northern Ireland registration JDZ2412, this Westlink Handybus, DW11, on the H23, with its RF overtones, looks quite at home in Hounslow Bus Station.

Westlink Optare Delta on route 81
Westlink acquired the tender for operation of the Hounslow - Slough 81 service from London Buslines, shortly before it was acquired by London United. Leyland Nationals originally deployed on the route in the red, white and turquoise livery were soon replaced by displaced Optare Deltas. This one is seen passing Heathrow on route to Hounslow.

Westlink Optare Delta F802GNY
Delta F802NGY ran in this unusual silver and red livery. It is seen here in Slough High Street when sanity still allowed buses access to the area without either being divided from the shops by the fast dual carriageway or needing to spend much time and effort in looping in ever decreasing circles to get vaguely near them.
