Listing T2 - posted 16th December 2006I am doing some research into my grandfather who was a coach driver in Torquay from the mid 1920's until he retired in the early 1960's. He worked for Townsend's, Grey Cars and Wallace Arnold. I have some photos from the early years and would like to do some research into the history of these companies. Do you know of any useful contacts, or know anyone who would be interested in seeing the photos? Regards, Mick Davis mickdavisbooks@btinternet.comListing T3 - posted 14th June 2008I have a limited number of original newly manufactured Firestone AR115 front rubber airsprings that fit a Bristol RE coach. Listing S5 - posted 25th July 2006During the world cup, I saw footage with a group of lads who had hired a 1970's Plaxton looking tour bus, previously belonging to The Who, for the football tour of Germany.Apparently this bus is for hire, and is still decked out with Who memorabilia. I am hoping to hire the bus, but have no idea where it might be. Can you help at all? I have been trying for years to get hold of Firestone Airide airbags AR114 and AR115 for the suspension of my 1968 Bristol RELH coach. In the highly unlikely event of being swamped with offers, I know that there are at least 6 other RE owners equally desperate (some have even looked into remanufacture but it is too expensive).
Listing S8- posted 12th November 2006 I am a writer for Insideout Magazine, the Sunday Times interior design magazine and I am doing a feature about new uses for transport and looking at forms of transport that have been turned into either holiday homes, a little retreat at the bottom of the garden, an office, guestroom etc...
I was wondering if you knew of anyone who had a bus that they have restored and turned into some kind of living area? I would really appreciate all the help you can give me.

I am trying to find someone to donate a good condition van/coach/double decker bus for a children's charity in Camberwell called Kidsco. See their website . They need it as they are rapidly running out of space. This is a fantastic, innovative charity offering support to vunerable and disadvantaged children in Londons Inner City (and their families as well half the time)
Please get back to me with any info on this you can give me.
