EFE SHOWBUS International Rally 2010 will feature many attractions.Participating vehicles will gather at Trumpington Park & Ride and travel via Shelford, Stapleford and Sawston to arrive at the Imperial War Museum at around 11.45am. The cavalcade will parade through the site to assemble in the centre of the display. Midland Red and other midlands buses will take part in the run and display at Duxford commemorating 40 years since BMMO ceased building buses for its Midland Red fleet. EFE will be releasing two special models associated with the rally. One will feature adverts for EFE SHOWBUS International 2010 the other will be a new EFE casting. SPECIAL DISPLAYS We will be celebrating many anniversaries this year in addition to our usual displays. Besides the Midland Red display there will be one celebrating fifty years of the Daimler Fleetline, 75 years of London's Greenlines, 75 years of Brighton, Hove & District, 90 years of SHOWBUS stalwart Lodge Coaches in addition to the usual Plaxton, Stagecoach, First and Arriva displays. ON SITE BUS With the display spreading from one end of the mammoth Duxford site to the other, there will be a free low floor shuttle bus running the length of the site between 11.15am and 4.15pm. Some doubledeckers will supplement the service to afford grandstand views of the display. Bus service from Cambridge Stagecoach Citi7 will provide a service from Cambridge Stations to Duxford. This will be supplemented by extra journeys in the morning and a late return journey, click here for the times. THE BUS STATION. This will be the area immediately in front of Showbus Control, by the American Air Museum. The Bus Station will be for vehicles coming and going on the DUXFORD VILLAGE TOURS throughout the afternoon. CAMBRIDGE BUSWAY. The longest busway in the world will not be open this SHOWBUS but there will be an excursion to view this exciting development. Site layout. The entry arrangements for 2010 will be different to 2009 as the far east end of the site will be back in use as there is no Helitech exhibition this year. See the site map. How much?. £16.50 for adults, £13.20 for senior citizens and students, £8.25 for unemployed and £9.90 for other concessions and FREE for under 16s. Group rates are available from the Museum.
