SHOWBUS international 2017

SHOWBUS is back at Donington Park for 2017

Our venue is Donington Park, the first permanent Park Circuit in the UK and home to the largest showcase of Grand Prix racing cars in the world. SHOWBUS visitors will get half price admission to the F1 and Wheatcroft military collections on proof of entry.
The venue is not the race track itself but an adjacent purpose built site owned by the Park and immediately to its west.
The site boasts over 42 000 square metres of tarmac and separate entrances for cars and exhibitors.
After last year's successful event we are aimimg for bigger and better in 2017. We are planning for more space for the display, much improved catering and indoor accommodation for many of the stalls.
There will be several special attractions, including a major display of Plaxton bodied buses and coaches to celebrate the coachbuilder's 110th anniversary. Some will have fond memories of the display at SHOWBUS for their centenary in 2007.

Ensignbus has promised to bring along their American MCI coach in the colours of Greyhound which will be joined by Darren Cunningham's Greyhound Scenicruiser from the Isle of Man.
Nottingham City Transport will be displaying no less than FIVE of their new gas powered Scania City buses.
Coach operators will be able to combine a visit to Showbus with the nearby shopping centres and attractions of Nottingham, Leicester or Derby.
A brochure, with yet more pages and pictures will be available for 2017. Feature articles will include a brief history of Plaxtons, celebrate 90 years of Red Rover of Aylesbury and Enviromania part 2 with the latest Enviro MMC models from Hong Kong, Canada and the US. All entrants will receive a free limited edition version, but for those buying the standard edition it may have a lucky number linked to some exclusive prizes including a unique Jotus model bus made for SHOWBUS 2017.

Showbus is an event that has, and always will be, run for enthusiasts by enthusiasts. We aim to stage an event that is unrivalled and hope that the new venue will offer our visitors value for money as well as a new range of displays and attractions.
We always like to hear from visitors to Showbus, and entrants too, and we would welcome suggestions as to what attractions you would like to see at the 2017 event. Contact us via the Contacts page
