Ventura Volvo B7RLE Volgren 854
The new Ventura group livery was evident in this sunny afternoon shot of 854 (9049AO) at the 2012 Sandown Truck & Bus Show. Grenda was already eliminating the variety of liveries amongst its subsidiaries whilst retaining their fleetnames. The Ventura fleet identification is confined to the depot name situated above the windows at the rear, in this case Lilydale is just visible, but clear if you click on the picture for the larger image.

A view of the Volvo B7RLE earlier in the day when rain was still blighting the event. The bus was new in June that year.

Ventura Invicta display
The Invicta display at Sandown included the vintage Croydon Bus Service Ford, and three Volgren bodied buses of varying vintage. A high floor Dennis Dart, 800 (3564AO), and Scania L113CRB 779 (3549AO), and the new Ventura branded Volvo B7RLE.

Ventura Volvo B7RLE Volgren 693
Out of Dandenong depot Volvo 693 (9179AO) is seen on a prestige charter outside the Arts Centre in Melbourne in November 2012. Look closely and you will see that all the windows have been blacked out with bin liner bags! Accompanying the B7RLE is another Volvo/Volgren combination from Dandenong depot, Grenda branded Volvo B12B coach 288 (6922AO), yet to receive any hint of Ventura logos. The charter was linked to the Melbourne Cup Parade along Swanston Street which severed the tram link at the Arts Precinct. Vehicles and horses in the parade terminated opposite.

Ventura Scania K280UB Volgren 1001
At Southlands the previous month was a true Ventura vehicle, 1001 (9106AO) out of Oakleigh depot and about to head across the suburbs to Box Hill on the 767. This bus however is a Scania K280UB.
