Gisborne Taxis
A visit to Gisborne in April 2008 found two companies prominent in the town on school services. It is believed that Red Bus was involved in route work - it later owned two Optare Excels - and the company had sold out to Waipawa Buses in 2000, but was still trading as Red Bus Service. The other operator was Gisborne Taxis who were providing limited town services in 2008. Ten years on the town service needed two buses and the network was contracted by Gisborne Council to Go Bus, trading as "Gizybus" using Plaxton Primo midibuses.

Gisborne Taxis Nissan Diesel 42
All Nissan Diesel 42 {CKN11) was new in 1991 and possibly used initially in Japan. It has also seen use by Cambridge Travel Lines in NZ and Cook's Island Passenger Transport, both thought to be after Gisborne.
