Ritchies Volvo bus
This Volvo was another bus seen in April 2000. Ritchies had B10M buses, though this may be a B7F with CWI Ranger bodywork.

Ritchies Nissan Diesel bus
Another bus at Britomart, like the Volvo, this ugly duckling is thought to be a Nissan Diesel.

Ritchies Hino RK177 Coachwork International Ranger 628
One bus from 2000 we have been able to identify is 628 (TO8467), one of fifty Coachwork International Ranger bodied Hino RK177 for the NZRRS (New Zealand Railways Road Services). This is one of four that worked for Newton Coachways in Dunedin. It was new in 1989 registered OG5326 and moved to Albany, near Auckland in 1992 with Hanhams Buses, moving to Devonport Buses in 1995 where it gained its TO8467 plate. In 1997 it became part of Auckland's Yellow Bus and survived long enough to pass briefly into Stagecoach ownership, but they soon sold it on to Whenuapai Bus, which is how it ended up with Ritchies, when they acquired that fleet. It is believed to have been sold on to someone in Kaikoura in 2010, making its stint with Ritchies the longest in its checkered career.
