In the early days of the rear engined Bristol RE chassis, Red & White was an enthusiastic user and had a relatively large fleet with the attractive vertically curved screens including several of the less common shorter chassis, the RESL. RS.167 (LAX101E) was a Leyland engined RESL6L with 46 seat ECW body seen here at the Cardiff Centenary Rally.

 Another ECW bodied RESL6L, but this bus was formerly 15 (GHB148N) in the Cynon Valley fleet (once Aberdare UDC). The operations and fleet were taken over by Red & White and this example is preserved in their colours as a mix of NBC poppy red and white with gold Red & White insignia. Note the narrow destination aperture specified by Cynon Valley. Numbered RS.393 by Red & White the bus was also on display at the Cardiff Centenary event. |
 In August 2015 RS.167 (LAX101E) was on display at the Bristol Bus Rally at Brislington Park & Ride.
