Stockwell Bus Garage opened in April 1952 and at the time of construction it was Europe's largest unsupported roof span. The garage provided unobstructed parking space fot 200 buses. The depot is now home to Go-Ahead London General's fleet of New Routemasters and Alexander Dennis hybrid Enviro400 buses. We are grateful to Ronnie Kraus for this week's picture.
