 The second visit to the Kempsey depot was in March 2016, but on a Sunday and all was quiet. New King Long bodied MAN coaches were popular purchases at the time and two 18.360 models are side by side nose into the shed, 7706MO and 7707MO. Next up is B7R 4213MO seen earlier and Custom CB80 bodied MAN 18.320 7447MO bought at the same time as the King Long coaches.

 At the other end of the shed one of the two Custom Enviro200 buses, 7709MO, is seen nose in alongside the now withdrawn Ansair bodied Mercedes O305G, 4206MO, new as ACTION 616 (ZIB616, later BUS616) in 1982.

 A motley collection of buses was lined up in the yard and visible from the roadway. From left to right we have BCI Classmaster 6739MO, Mercedes OH1418 Custom 4203MO, OC1621 PMC 4201MO, O305 5587MO ex ACTION 666 (ZIB666, later BUS666) whose body was rebuilt by Coachworks & Nambucca bodied 44 again. Now minus its rego plate and delicensed for a year, 44 looks to have come to the end of its days.

 With the Kempsy depot locked up, an hour away was the Port Macquarie yard of Portbus. Allocated there was Toyota Coaster CD83DT transferred from Kempsey, but new in 1994 to the associated Glasshouse Country Coaches fleet in Beerwah as 12 (130EYP).

 Amongst a number of smart coaches in the Port Macquarie yard were Custom 420 bodied Scania K113TR 4194MO and Coach Design bodied Volvo B7R 4192MO. The Scania had been seen with Cavanagh at Kempsey back in 2009. The Volvo was new in 2002 and has since been transferred to Cavbus at Logan Village.
