Transit First Hino RG197K PMCA Commuter 67
Transit First Hino RG197K 67 (MO8955) with PMCA Commuter dating from 1995 came from Crossleys with Hino 68 (MO8956), several Leyland Leopards and half a dozen services in 1997. It is seen on post Christmas rail replacement service in December 2003. Ironically it too ended up in the Connex/Veolia/Transdev operation with fleet number 34 in 2007 when the Transit First operation was sold to Veolia.

Logan Coaches Leyland Leopard PMC 4
It was a delight to find an active Leyland Leopard PSU3/2R still in the Logan Coaches fleet in August 2009, 4 (024DKK). Indeed the 1985 PMC bodied bus was still on the fleet strength in late 2014. It originally carried a 1965 PMC body and has been repowered with a GM unit. The bus joined the group from Beaudesert Bus Service, which Cavanagh's purchased with Logan Coaches. The previous owners were linked to Crossley Bus Lines and the bus had served there. Prior to that it was used by Helensburgh Bus Service, South Trans and Deane's Bus Lines and Woronora Bus Service all in Menai.

Logan Coaches Volvo B58 Smithfield 26
New to ACTION in Canberra as 371 (ZIB371) this 1975 Smithfield bodied Volvo B58 saw further service in Sydney with Crossleys as MO8395 before ending up as 26 in Logan Coaches fleet with matching rego 526DLF. The bus is seen at the Logan Village depot during a visit in August 2009.

Logan Coaches depot graveyard
A graveyard of buses was lined up at the back of the Logan Coaches yard. Nearest the camera is another Canberra Volvo B58/Smithfield 13 (896DFR) which had been new to ACTION as 361 (ZIB361) and then MO8000 with Crossleys. Next up is probably a Sydney Buses Mercedes

Bowen Transit Leyland Leopard Custom 200
Number 3 in the Queensland Bowen Transit fleet in 2009, registered 783HXU, is an early seventies Leyland Leopard PSU3B/2R new with a Denning SA body to Canterbury Bus Lines in NSW. It received its current Custom Coaches "200" body in 1992. The bus came to Bowen from the associated Whitsunday Transit, but before that it was MO722 with Crossley.
