 By October 2018 the tour had been rebranded "Perth Explorer" and veteran MCW Metrobus 410, seen back in 2006, was still going strong, but with new WA rego CVL1961.

 Inevitably the all conquering Anhui Ankai open topper arrived in Perth to displace the MCW Metrobuses. Unnumbered, but with rego CVL1963, is seen in William Street in October 2018.

This Anhui Ankai was newly arrived at Fremantle Docks in October 2018, doubtless with another MCW Metrobus in its sights. Its attack may have been thwarted as it had broken down on the ramp from the Dock, causing something of a problem for other traffic.
