A different midnight refreshment stop was used on the return trip to Melbourne that night. The Greyhound Australia sticker in the window might be noticed. Competition on express routes is so diminished that Greyhound and Firefly were code sharing the service. Competition from low cost airlines has killed express coaching in Australia, the airfare often being less than that by road. Australia awaits its Megabus.
