Phillip Island Bus Lines Mercedes OH1625 PMCA Apollo 109
On a Mercedes OH1625 chassis, this PMCA Apollo coach, 109 (3727AO), dates from 1990. It was purchased from stock by Picton Coaches in New South Wales and later passed to Minden Bus Service in Queensland. It reached Victoria initially with O'Shannessy's in Sorrento, then Blue Ridge Coaches of Hastings before acquisition by Peninsula Bus Lines within the Grenda group. It is seen in South Coast Bus' Wonthaggi depot in March 2014. South Coast and Phillip Island are both owned by the Melbourne based Moreland Group. Both country based companies are adopting a new blue and yellow livery, whereas the parent company's operations are in a similar shade of green to the buses on this page.
