 Skybus operated a system whereby passengers were quickly and efficiently transferred from the airport to downtown and vice-versa. From the downtown Southern Cross location onward travel was readily available to country Victoria by V/Line train and coach, Suburban Melbourne by Metro train and to St Kilda by tram. Rather than have the expensive equipment doing drop offs downtown, maximum utilisation of those assets meant a quick turn around and pounding the Tullamarine Freeway back to the airport: small Mitsubishi Rosas plod economically around the downtown hotels, Ready to take passengers from Southern Cross Station in April 2004 is Rosa 21 (5277AO) of 2004, since withdrawn. |

 Later the same day two Rosas head out of the Southern Cross yard to take visitors to the various city hotels, 33 again, followed by 24 (5354AO) of 2004, now withdrawn.
