Sydney Explorer Scania L113CRL Ansair Orana 3826
Preparations for the Sydney Festival in January 2004 prevented Scania 3826 (MO3826) doing the loop manoeuvre by the Opera House, so it is pausing at the entrance to the Opera House precinct at the end of Macquarie Street. The Ansair Orana bodiedlow floor Scania L113CRL was new in 1998, but it is understood it served initially in fleet livery before being repainted and joinng the City Explorer fleet. It is thought to be the only such bus transferred.

Nothing can beat this backdrop to the Scania seen with both Sydney Opera House and the world famous Harbour Bridge as it wends its way on the circular Explorer route around the city.

Another Sydney landmark, the AMP Tower can be seen whilst the low floor Scania passes across Hyde Park. The Explorer service ceased around the end of 2010 with City Sightseeing doubledeckers providing the tourist service. In 2016 the operation passed to Big Bus
