Sydney Buses Volvo B12BLEA Volgren CR228L 2264
In 2010 Sydney Buses started taking delivery of 150 Volgren CR228L articulated Volvo B12BLEA buses. Volgren opened a new factory in the state at Newcastle to build the buses, but with no further orders the factory was subsequently closed. Many of the buses were painted red for the new "Metrobus" branded services but many were in the new State insipid blue, like 2264 (2264ST) on the express 333 service linking Circular Quay with Bondi Beach, It is seen climbing out of the Quay in April 2012.
