 The eccentric 38xxxx numbering scheme seemed to get abandoned in 2019 with huge batches of Volgren Optimus and Gemilang bodied Scanias arriving starting with 1101. Here is K310UB 1138 (BS05CW) seen heading for Elsternwick in St Kilda in November. The new buses seem to have ousted large numbers of the Custom bodied MAN vehicles which were the mainstay on the 246. New buses though to 1186 at least were all initially allocated to North Fitzroy.

 Delivered at the tail end of 2018 was another pair of K360UA artics, this is 180 (BS03WV) - or is it 380180? It has something of an identity crisis with both numbers being carried. It is seen on Lonsdale Street in November 2019 heading into the city at the start of the evening rush hour.

 K310UB 1135 (BS05DT) was seen that afternoon working the 246 north to Clifton Hill from Windsor.
