Transdev Melbourne Scania K310UB Volgren Optimus 380124
Seen on Christmas Day 2016 is a third member of that initial batch of Optimus Scanias, 380124 (BS02LM), outside Frankston Station. Like the earlier Gemilang Scanias, the new buses often displaced the SmartBus branded buses from their routes, like the lengthy orbital 901 to Tullamarine Airport.

In May 2017 380125 is seen again, this time on SmartBus 901 at Dandening Station. Behind is believed to be Ventura 313 (2405AO), a CR221L bodied Volvo B12BLE of 2003.

Dandenong Station
A second view of 380125 at Dandenong that day, being passed by two Cranbourne Transit buses. The lead bus, 72 (BS02OK) is in PTV livery and the bus behind in the penultimate, somewhat pedestrian, fleet livery. A keen devotee of the Scania/Volgren combo, the Cranbourne 72 is identical to 380125.

Another five K310UB/Optimus buses arrived in late 2017 (380164-380168) amidst many more Gemilang bodied examples. This is 380167 (BS03KQ) seen arriving on SmartBus 901 at Dandenong Station, Frankston bound in March 2019.

In March 2018 380167 was seen again, many over fifty kilometres away at Melbourne Airport Bus Station about to embark on the tortuous journey to Frankston, scheduled to take over four hours. To help the airport bus station has been inconveniently sited at the extreme end of the terminals, but probably saves a minute on the end to end journey time!
