 Replacing trams for a change a trio of Volgrens are lined up on St Kilda Road replacing trams on route 8 to Toorak in March 2016 whilst the Domain interchange was undergoing its third makeover in almost as many years. First "cab off the rank" was Scania K280UB 986 (8268AO) of 2011.

 On train work outside Windsor Station on Chapel Street in January 2017 was Mercedes O500LE 599 (6984AO), bodied in Malaysia for Grenda in 2008.

 Iveco 1077 is seen again on tram replacement work on St Kilda Road in October 2016. The Custom Evo II behind has its blind set for tram 67 to Melbourne Uni.

 April 2018 and more transport chaos at the Domain Interchange as it undergoes another transformation into Anzac Station as part of the Metrotunnel project, causing substantial tram replacement with at least three Ventura buses lined up by the temporary tent shelters on St Kilda Road. In the lead is 833 (7629AO), a Malaysian bodied Scania K230UB of 2009, with Volvo B7RLE 679 (8845AO) also built in Malaysia, but in 2012.
