 St Kilda Junction is a driver's nightmare with the intersection of major arteries and a local side street and three tram routes slicing through it. This view shows PTV liveries 167 city bound and 162 in the leaf livery about to head through the junction to Kew, whilst a third tram has just completed its transjunction manouevre to descend into the Junction's tram stop cutting.

 Surprisingly a second PTV lieveried Z3, 223, joined 184. Back then two PTV liveried Z Class trams side by side was rare and it was unusual to see two trams at the South Melbourne Beach terminus.
