Vale Travel Optare Solo AU54EOA
Former Anglian Solo 307 (AU54EOA) used to have a hump on its back. Anglian was an early operator of gas powered buses and 307 had the gas cylinders fitted to its roof when new from Optare. Later the comoany had a fleet of twelve full sized Caetano bodied MAN 18.270 EcoCity singledeck gas buses. When Anglian was closed down Go-Ahead transferred the MAN buses to its Plymouth City Transport subsidiary. The Solo is seen in October 2017 with Vale Travel having been converted to diesel, painted in Vale livery and minus its hump.
