Sadly in September 2019 the Kenzies Coaches business, based at Shepreth in south Cambridgeshire since 1947, closed down. Its owner, Cyril Kenzie was in his nineties and it was time to let go. Cyril operated an extremely smart fleet of coaches, latterly Van Hools, but he loved the Bedfords from the early days and has preserved some noteable examples which he used to enjoy displaying annually at SHOWBUS.

A rare vehicle seen arriving at SHOWBUS international 2005 is Kenzie's Volvo B10M, with Van Hool bus bodywork. The bus was new to Hutchison's of Overtown in Scotland and was one of a pair. It is not known if there were any other bus bodied Van Hool vehicles in the UK.

Cyril presented his former Heaps of Leeds Bedford VAL14 with Harrington Legionnaire coachwork at SHOWBUS 2006. It was immaculate and drew many admirers as well as the prize for the best 1960s singledeck.

Park Lane is a regular parking rank for coaches on day trips to London. This nearly four year old Van Hool Alizee bodied Volvo B12B, S100CBK, is seen on the Lane in March 2008. No doubting who owns this coach, especially as CBK are Cyril's initials!
