An entry at EFE Showbus 1999, GBJ192 is a very unusual
AEC Regent as it sports ECW bodywork, from the home town of Lowestoft.
This bus was once in the fleet of the very small Lowestoft Corporation Transport Department. Alongside
is another local and Showbus regular, neighbouring Yarmouth all Leyland Titan owned by Hedingham Omnibus.

 The 2001 Showbus saw the Regent return with another ECW bodied product from the Lowestoft Corporation fleet. The second vehicle is preserved AEC Swift 2MP2R 4 (YRT898H). |
 A better view of the Swift. For such a small operation, the specification of dual door bodywork was surprising. Whilst the local ECW bodywork was an obvious choice, the unhappy AEC Swift chassis mae for an unusual combination. Lowestoft perhaps expected the reliability and longevity of its Regents passing on to the AEC Swift. |
