Increasingly rare are the Metropolitans - MCW bodied integral Scanias of the 1970s. This is one of a
substantial batch which saw service with London Transport, but earned premature withdrawal. Several
found their way to Whippets of nearby Fenstanton, and doubtless KJD271P has seen longer service with
them than LT. Sadly ex London Titans have recently seen off the once large fleet of Whippet Metropolitans
and there are few other places to find them. Ex London MD71 is also seen at EFE Showbus 1999.
