The first low floor doubledecker to go into public service - just. A-Bus' R222AJP pipped TWM by a
matter of seconds. The bus is seen here at the Weston West Of England rally in August.
Contact between the Showbus organisers and A Bus at Weston resulted in the vehicle
appearing at Duxford a few weeks later, as seen below.

Seen in the company of its rival for the 'first' title, A-bus of Bristol's R222AJP took to the road on the same
day as TWM 1. Completing the trio is one of Wilts & Dorset's 3 low floor Spectras.

Westward Travel's Plaxton Supreme, ERY790T, is seen at the West of England Rally too in August 98.
Westward Travel was associated with the model bus kit manufacturer Westward Models, who not
surprisingly made kits of the Plaxton Supreme body.

Transliner, R30ARJ, is a nice example seen also at the Weston Rally.

Perhaps the cutest vehicle at the Weston Rally was 'Vista', what appears to be a Plaxton Supreme
based body on a Bedford van chassis.

Former London Country AN138 is an NBC standard Atlantean with Park Royal bodywork, now
in use on school services in the Bristol area.
