The once independent fleet of Wessex Coaches was probably the largest private coach operator
in Bristol with a large collection of red and beige modern Bedfords. The company was acquired
by Bristol Omnibus, but privatised on its own, but later came back into the Bristol fold. This
Plaxton Premier is on the dedicated service from Marlborough Street Bus Station in Bristol to
FirstGroup owned Bristol Airport.

Wessex 182 (P945RWS) is seen on a shuttle working in Baker Street. The blue and yellow doubledecker was acquired by along with Cambridge Coach Services and was redeployed on to Stanstead Airbus service A6.
