Seen at the last North Weald rally in 2004 is the then new Ayats bodied Volvo B7L from the first
batch delivered to City Sightseeing. This example was destined for Stratford on Avon.

Peter Newman himself drives the Purfleet based Ayats open top doubledecker from SHOWBUS 2004,
384 (EU04CUW).
The Cambridge based vehicle won the prize for the best 2004 vehicle at the show. Similar
vehicles are at work in Spain and Italy for City Sightseeing as well as other UK cities.

Peter Newman's City Sightseeing kindly supplied a superb open topper for use as Rally
Control now that Wallace Arnold has disposed of their Ailsa. The Ailsa had been a stalwart at
SHOWBUS for many years, and its awning was particularly useful when the rain appeared at prize
time. Opposite Rally Control several vehicles from the associated City Sightseeing and Ensignbus
operations were present, including this pair of new Ayats bodied open top doubledeckers.
Alongside was an ex Colchester ECW bodied Atlantean, the third at the rally, and Stratford
Blue's Routemaster. A third Ayats open topper was also present as part of the Arriva line up
for the Original London Sightseeing Tour operation.
