The classic east meets west shot. A United States Chevrolet, which presumably made its way out
to Bahrain with Uncle Sam - either for troup or school transport - now owned by a local operator
and posed in Manamar alongside an Indian Tata of Falcon Transport.

This Chevvie is less secretive about its origins in unashamed US school bus yellow and black,
posed alongside a local midibus at Manamar.
|
Seen in the centre of Manamar, and proudly displaying the Leyland 'symbol of the shattered
clutch' is this Indian built Ashok Leyland of Capital Transport.

An offside view of an Ashok Leyland of Capital Transport on layover behind Manamar Bus Station.
|
Proving variety is the Middle East spice of life is this Daewoo, also lurking round the back of
Manamar Bus Station.
|
Probably the same Daewoo, but a nearside view. The model claims to be a BR112, which suggests
there may have been some Scania involvement with the design of this rear engined coach.
