Amigos Unidos 51031 has a hint of Wright Eclipse about its bodystyle.

An unusual vehicle in service in the centre of Rio is 51196, a short version of earlier models like 51058 on the first page.

The reason for the short buses is evident when one sees that they work the route which follows the Santa Teresa tram up steep and narrow winding streets. This view from one of the trams shows an Amigo Unidos midibus descending the Santa Teresa hill at one of the wider parts of the route. In places it can be quite a squeeze.
