Bodywork on this Mercedes of Braso Lisboa will have a name familiar to many -
Marcopolo. The bus is seen on the Atlantic Avenue alongside the world
famous Copacabana Beach.

Less common around the city were identical Mercedes with bodywork by Ciferal, this one is seen one block from Copacabana Beach. The Mercedes chassis are front engined, the buses dual door with entry from the rear where fare is paid to a seated conductor. |

Another Ciferal bodied Merc, but this time at "Central" the main service hub in Rio de Janeiro. Note the bold fleet numbers, each Rio operator appearing to have its own sequence, all Braso Lisboa buses starting 29... The numbers are repeated boldly on the rear and roof as well as the sides. |
