Guernsey Bus Station
Many of these photos date from a visit to Guernsey in the summer of 1965. All were taken with a Kodak 'Brownie' camera.
 
Guernsey Motors & Railways Albion Nimbus The Reading bodied Albion Nimbus was the standard new purchse for both the associated fleets of Guernsey Motors and Guernsey Railway in the sixties. 86 (10486) sported matching fleet and regsitration numbers in the Motors fleet, but Railway 65 was registered 10488. They are seen together entering St Peter Port Bus Station.
 
Guernsey Motors Albion Reading This view at the Grange depot shows the distinctive curved rear end styling of the Reading bodywork which featured on both Nimbuses and the earlier Victors.
 
Guernsey Motors Austin KP/CXD Guernsey Motors 17 was a 1951 Austin KP/CXD with Perkins P6 engine and Thurgood 34 seat bodywork. 17 was one of 3 similar machines.
 
Guernsey Motors Austin CXB More common Austins in the Motors fleet were CXBs dating from the late forties. 44 (4510) resting in St Peters Port is a 1948 Barnard bodied 33 seater.
