ConneXXion Mercedes 600 2906 2906 is a slightly larger 600 series minibus, also in the Hoorn depot yard with the doubledecker train from Amsterdam pulling in behind.

ConneXXion DAF 8970
DAF MB200/Van Hool 8970 has something of a Parisian air about it with the open balcony, though it is probably intended to capture the nautical flavour of the local community in Hoorn. Its exact role in life is unknown, but one can imagine being used in local community events, though it may actually operate some sort of tourist oriented service. The photo was taken in February 2000, as the vehicle was not noticeably in evidence in 1998 or 1999, it may be a recent conversion.
